International Emmy Award-nominated PBS program “Travels with Darley” visited Dauphin’s and Las Floriditas to showcase some local Mobile cuisine. Our Ropa Vieja Vol-Au-Vent, Chimichurri Shrimp Cilantro Lime Rice, Croquettes De Jamon, Papaya Daquiri Millie Feuille, Las Floriditas Daiquiri, and La Bodeguita Mojito were featured at Las Floriditas. Our Shrimp and Grits, Bama Gump Fried Green Tomatoes, Scallops, Seafood Diavolo, Dark Chocolate Pot de Creme, Thyme Lemonade and Top Floor Margarita were featured at Dauphin’s. All was a big hit with host Darley Newman! The program travels to several places around the world to meet with locals about cultural history, food, music and art. It is quite an honor that Las Floriditas and Dauphin’s were chosen by this internationally-acclaimed program!
