BOB BAUMHOWER

CEO + Head Fry Cook

From Fairhope, AL, Bob founded Aloha Hospitality in 1981. Bob owns and operates 15 concepts across the state of Alabama. Previously, Baumhower played in the National Football League for the Miami Dolphins and the University of Alabama. He is a five-time Pro Bowler with the Miami Dolphins, member of the Miami Dolphins’ Ring of Honor and two-time All-American at the University of Alabama. His experience on the playing field has inspired Baumhower’s restaurants and provided the discipline and dedication to deliver the finest food and dining experience around.

SPENCER BAUMHOWER

President + Legendary Wingman

​

From Fairhope, AL, Spencer has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality since 2008. He started as a busser, then server, then bartender, worked through HOH (Heart of the House), and eventually became a key employee. Spencer moved to an assistant manager once he graduated from college, working his way up to GM within a couple years. He held the position of Field Training Operations and oversaw all MIT (Manager In Training) operations of the training store. Spencer then got in multi-unit management in 2019, got promoted to Vice President of Operations, then COO in 2021. He is close to his three siblings: Anne, Allie, and Wesley. Spencer is a former collegiate athlete and loves fitness, sports, and legendary food. He has a huge passion for people and helping others succeed professionally and in life. He enjoys deep sea fishing, diving, and investing in sports trading cards.

ZACK COMPTON

Director of Kitchen Operations

From Douglasville, GA, Zack has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality since May 2011. He attended Culinary School in Austin, TX, at Texas Culinary Academy and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. He previously worked for #1 Zagat Rated Cajun Restaurant in Atlanta, GA. Zack has been with Aloha ever since, helping open multiple concepts for the past 13 years. He is married with four daughters and enjoys outdoor activities with his girls, fishing, camping, hunting and water sports.

MORGAN SMITH

Administrative Coordinator

From Spanish Fort, AL, Morgan has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality since December 2022. She studied Business Administration at Coastal Alabama and brings ten years of Executive level office management experience to our team. Morgan lived abroad in Italy for four years and enjoys traveling. In her spare time, she enjoys a big glass of wine while reading, and spending time with her husband, two beautiful daughters, their two fur babies, and her extended family.

Director of Retail

Hailing from South Mississippi, Chip joined the Aloha Team in December 2023.  A graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi, Chip has over 25 years of retail industry experience, having worked for major companies such as Gap, Mercantile Stores, Inc, Shoe Carnival, Inc., and Hard Rock International. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Chip enjoys spending time with family, sports, dining out, and attending cultural events.

MALLORY HELMS

Marketing + Social Media Coordinator

From Mobile, AL, Mallory has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality since July 2023. She graduated with her BSBA in Marketing Management from The University of South Alabama, where she was also a volunteer for South Serves. Mallory loves spending time at the beach with her friends and traveling to Auburn, AL, to see her two younger sisters. Her favorite color is pink and her favorite pastime is to go hiking with her pup, Finn.

Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Diego has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality since September 2023. He graduated from Las Mercedes University in Bogotá with an Associate degree in Arts and from Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Filmmaking and Multimedia. Diego has worked for more than 20 years in various industries, including print media, web design, eLearning and multimedia. He likes to spend time with his wife, travel and experience new cultures, play the guitar and is a huge soccer and Metallica fan.

GAIL SULLIVAN

Receptionist + Guest Relations

From Section, AL (known as Sand Mountain), Gail has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality for more than 20 years. She has worked with Aloha the majority of her adult life, both in the restaurant and the office. Gail loves working with our guests that visit our restaurants to ensure they have the best legendary experience they can while dining or picking up take out! Gail is married to her husband, Sean, and they have an 18-year-old son, Ian, who has recently been accepted to the University of Alabama.  Gail loves to read and go to the beach.

JOHN FUTCH

The Marketing Guy

From South Florida, John has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality since April 2022. He attended high school at Palm Beach Gardens with Bob Baumhower in the early 1970s. John holds a Masters degree in Mass Communication from the University of Denver. He has worked in the marketing, advertising and public relations fields for more than 30 years. His career began working on advertising and PR campaigns for local restaurants and hotels in South Florida and eventually led to working in the high-tech advertising field in Silicon Valley, CA. He also previously worked as the Director of Marketing for Aloha Hospitality back in 2004. Things have come full circle for John and he is extremely excited to be back with the team!

DANA MILLS

Chief Financial Officer

​

​Dana has been with Aloha Hospitality as the company’s CFO/Controller since 2024. Her responsibilities include all financials - accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. She has an extensive background of 29 years in the accounting field in both real estate management and the restaurant industry. Dana is originally from Atlanta, GA, and graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She has been married to her husband for 26 years, and they have two sons: Jonathan who is 21 years old, and Braxton, who is18 years old. Both of her sons attend college in Tuscaloosa. Dana and her family enjoy college football and root for Bama (of course), and they are also huge Atlanta Braves baseball fans. The family loves their time on the water in their boat fishing or just cruising, and enjoy hunting at their camp near Demopolis, AL.

From Mobile, AL, Cindy has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality for 20+ years. She went to high school at Ben C Rain in 1971, received her certificate from Huffstellar Business School in 1973 and attended the University of South Alabama. Cindy previously worked 27 years for Morrison and Ruby Tuesday before starting at Aloha Hospitality in August 2000. She has three children and seven grandchildren. Her family loves spending time together, going to the beach, hunting, swimming, and cooking.

From New York, Christine has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality for almost 20 years. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys swimming, karate, and playing tennis.

JULIE CARMEAN

Payroll, Taxes & Licenses

​

From Kissimmee, FL, Julie has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality since February 2022. She has her AA from Valencia College.  Julie has previous restaurant experience and has been in accounting for the past 30 years. She is married to her husband, Scott, for 9 years and together they have three adult sons. They have four dogs (two Great Danes and two Chihuahuas), which makes life at home very interesting. When not at work she enjoys gardening, riding with her husband on one of their motorcycles, fishing and bowling.  As a family, they watch a lot of baseball, football and bowling.

AMY AKER

Daily Sales Specialist

​

​Amy joined Team Aloha in January 2025. Amy’s daily responsibilities include running bank activity reports, entering journal entries, updating outstanding check spreadsheets, updating daily cash spreadsheets, auditing tips, auditing discounts, auditing open shifts and preparing and paying the sales taxes each month to the state, cities and counties.  She is responsible for sending all these updates and reports to Bob, Spencer and our chief financial officer, Dana. Amy’s career has included working in the Vacation rental business for 25 years. She worked for a smaller company for four years and in 1999 went to work for Kaiser Realty, which rented condos and beach houses and was the management company for several associations. While there, she held several different positions. In 2004, she was given the opportunity to work in the accounting department and has been in accounting ever since. She feels very fortunate to have learned accounting from a few great people and worked in bookkeeping on both the Property Management side and the Association side. The company was sold two times while she was there and, in the summer of 2020, she decided to leave to pursue other opportunities. She then spent some more time doing bookkeeping for a couple of Association Management companies, an accounting firm and another rental company. Amy was born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and has lived in Baldwin County since she was three months old. She is the oldest of her siblings, who include two brothers and a sister. Amy has been married to her husband Seth since 2004, and among them they have four children, two boys and twin girls, as well as two grandsons aged three and one years old - who are the joy of their lives! Amy’s hobbies include spending time with her grandbabies, watching college football and softball, going to the beach, spending time at the pool and boating.

DANA BROWN

AP Coordinator

​Dana joined Aloha in June of 2025. She is in charge of making sure all payables are entered correctly and paid in a timely matter. She has almost 40 years of experience in different accounting positions including 15 years in the dairy industry and 15 in the automotive industry. Before she joined Aloha, she worked as a comptroller for Tameron Automotive, LLC. Dana was born in Foley, AL, and raised in Bay Minette, AL. She attended Baldwin County High School and Bay Minette Area Vocational School. She then attended Bishop State Junior College. She lived in Knoxville, TN, for 12 years before moving back to Alabama to care for her elderly parents. She has been married to her husband Chester for 27 years. They have three children: Trevor (32), Taylor (26) and Tucker (20). They also have one grandchild Addi Drake (4) who Dana claims is the love of her heart. Dana loves to cook and create her own recipes. She enjoys working in her yard and working with flowers and plants, which she finds very relaxing. Dana works and gives to different charities that make a difference in the community. She believes that giving back to the community is very fulfilling and important. Every Christmas, she and her youngest son have fun going on a shopping spree for toys to donate to Toys For Tots to bring Christmas joy to the children.

WENDY NECAISE

HR Generalist

​Wendy graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations with a minor in English. She has been in the Hospitality Industry in some form or fashion for most of her adult life, first as a hostess at Red Lobster, then later as a waitress and Bartender for O'Charley's and Old Bay Steamer in Fairhope, before finding a home at Aloha Hospitality as HR Coordinator and finally HR Director.  Wendy had to leave two times for various reasons, but she has reunited with her Aloha Family early this year and says that this time it is for good!  In her current position as HR Generalist, she is mainly responsibility is sourcing, hiring, training, and motivating our fantastic management team. Wendy enjoys reading, cooking and playing with her puppy.

ALEXANDRA BALDWIN

Training Coordinator

From Chatom, AL, Alex has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality since November 2018. She graduated from Coastal Alabama Community College with her Associates Degree in Business Administration and from Alabama A&M University with her Bachelors of Science in Marketing. Alex was previously a part-time Manager at Charming Charlie and part-time Manager at Charlotte Russe before being hired as a server at our Baumhower’s Huntsville location. Over the years, Alex worked in many front of house positions, such as cashier, team lead, server trainer, bartender, and travel trainer, just to name a few. In the summer of 2021, Alex joined the Support Center team as a Marketing Intern. Once her internship was completed, she stepped into her new position as Marketing Coordinator.  She enjoys traveling, hiking, and Sunday Funday brunch!

CHRIS MYLES

Director of Assets

From Orange Beach, AL, Chris has been a team member of Aloha Hospitality since March 2010. Chris graduated from Mississippi State University and previously worked as a residential contractor and remodeler before joining the Aloha team. He enjoys hunting, being on his boat and woodworking. Chris can’t wait to teach his son Barrett everything he knows about his favorite things!

From Rabun, AL, Jerry has been a team member at Aloha Hospitality since January 2018. He has been an industrial electrician for the past 40+ years. Jerry enjoys hunting, antiquing, and restoring antique cars.
