Loxley, AL (December 5, 2022) – A ground-breaking ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 12, for a new Baumhower’s Victory Grille (BVG) in Troy, AL. The site of the new restaurant prototype and ceremony will be at 106 Trojan Parkway adjacent to Publix. The property is being developed by H.M. Nowlin & Associates of Decatur, AL.

On hand to break ground will be Bob Baumhower, founder and CEO of Aloha Hospitality, the parent company of BVG; Spencer Baumhower, President of Aloha Hospitality; Jason A. Reeves, Mayor of Troy; HM Nowlin, President of Nowlin Development Co., LLC; representatives from the Pike County Economic Development Corporation; and other local Troy dignitaries.

“Baumhower’s Victory Grille was founded on the principles of providing each and every guest with the highest quality made from scratch food, excellent, unrivaled service, and an overall enjoyable experience” said Baumhower, “With more than 60 strategically positioned TV’s, guests can expect an incredible game day experience when cheering on their favorite team(s). We invite Troy, and surrounding communities, to come and experience BVG’s legendary food and hospitality for themselves when the restaurant opens in spring 2023.”

The new design is geared to enhance the overall guest experience and combines a sleek contemporary interior and exterior. Featured elements includes roll-up garage doors on an outdoor covered patio, a streamlined kitchen for faster service, enhanced brand identity and optimized infrastructure.

This will mark the company’s 10th BVG location across the state. Additional locations can be found in Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Vestavia Hills, Huntsville, Montgomery, Mobile, Daphne and Auburn.

Baumhower’s, the state’s first restaurant to offer buffalo-style chicken wings, is celebrating 40 years in business and is part of Aloha Hospitality, with headquarters in Loxley, AL. Aloha owns and operates Baumhower’s (award-winning sports-themed restaurants); three Wingfingers concepts from Fairhope to Montgomery, featuring fast casual dining; Dauphin’s fine dining located 424 feet above Mobile Bay; and Las Floriditas, a true Cuban speakeasy located in the same building.
