BAUMHOWER’S VICTORY GRILLE HOSTS OFFICIAL SWEET SIXTEEN WATCH PARTY - WVUA 23

By WVUA 23 News Reporter Zoe Blair

Alabama Crimson Tide basketball faced the North Carolina Tarheels in the Sweet Sixteen on March 28.

Baumhower’s Victory Grille hosted the official watch party and hundreds of fans came out to support the Crimson Tide.

The game started at 8:39 p.m., but the restaurant was packed hours before tip off. Fans seemed hopeful for a Alabama win.

“I’m hoping to see that we win,” said Alabama sophomore, Craig Newbill. “I think that we have a good chance if we can make threes. I think if Trelly (Latrell Wrightsell Jr.) plays we have a good chance to spread the floor out, get some good open threes.”

If Alabama wins against the Tarheels, they will play Clemson in the Elite Eight on Saturday.
