Loxley, AL (November 4, 2024) – Aloha Hospitality, the parent company of Baumhower’s Victory Grille, Wingfingers, Dauphin’s, and Las Floriditas, will play host to a second Caribbean cruise this year for the team members who achieved the highest rankings in company-wide contests over an eight-week period this summer.
“As a former NFL player and the son of successful vacuum cleaner salespeople and executives, I firmly believe in incentive-based bonuses for a job well done,” stated Bob Baumhower, CEO. Our commitment to investing in our team members is unwavering. Spencer Baumhower, my son and President, accompanies me on every cruise. Witnessing the excitement on the faces of our team members is what brings us the most joy. I understand the challenges of this industry, and I am absolutely thrilled to reward those who consistently go above and beyond.”
Aloha Hospitality offers various incentive programs and contests throughout the year, providing managers and hourly team members with exceptional opportunities to win generous bonuses and even a cruise. One of the most popular and competitive contests is the “Aloha Legendary Cruise,” which centers around contests held during the year.
In February, the first 5-day cruise of the year departed from New Orleans to Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico. The next cruise sails in November when the winning associates will depart from Mobile for a 7-day cruise to Cozumel and Belize. The cruise will be aboard Carnival Spirit, which is homeported part of the year in Mobile.
Cruisers and their guests will enjoy a private cabin with all the ship’s amenities and adventurous shore excursions, allowing them to experience the relaxing beauty and native culture of the Caribbean.
“This is a ‘true vacation’ and a well-deserved reward for all our winning teams’ hard work,” said Spencer Baumhower, President. “This is also a great team-bonding experience for the entire company, fostering camaraderie and new friendships. Many of those who go on the cruise have never met team members from other locations or concepts.”
The winning teams from Baumhower’s, Dauphin’s and Las Floriditas scored the highest total sales for specific menu items in the “Raise The Roof Contest.” Additionally, team members from Wingfingers received the highest scores from “Secret Shoppers” in the “Shop Till’ You Drop Contest” that was based on the service they provided during the dining experience. Throughout the eight-week contest, generous weekly prizes were also awarded to the team leaders.
“These contests are definitely enjoyable and rewarding for our team members and personally for me. However, the main priority for us as a company in these contests is to enhance the skills of our team members to ensure that we remain committed to our mission of providing every guest with a legendary experience during every visit,” continued Bob Baumhower.
