TUSCALOOSA HIGHLIGHTS LOCAL RESTAURANTS WITH RESTAURANT WEEK - WVUA 23

Sunday, June 23 marked the beginning of Visit Tuscaloosa’s annual Restaurant Week highlighting a number of local eateries.


Beginning on June 23 and ending on June 29, Restaurant Week will have over 50 restaurants participating this year, including Baumhower’s Victory Grille and SoCal Cantina.


Restaurants taking place in restaurant week are taking this opportunity to gain new customers and express their appreciate for the city for making it happen.


“We definitely love participating in anything that Tuscaloosa does,” said Baumhower’s General Manager Patrick Rivers.


Dining locations are inviting patrons in for exclusive deals and dinners.


“At So-Cal this week for restaurant week we have surf and turf fries,” said SoCal Cantina employee Carrington Gaskin. “It has steak, it has shrimp, and the kitchen tosses it in this nice compound butter with the fries, with a little bit of cheese and some pico. It is only $18, but it’s only for this week, so you you gotta come in. You gotta get it quick.”
