First dates can be nerve-wracking, and the last thing you need is the added stress of figuring out where to take your potential partner. Lucky for you, we’ve done the thinking for you! Here are five date ideas around Mobile.
The criteria
I’m not just naming bars & restaurants here, I put some serious thought (& possibly some girl math) into these first date picks. So, here’s what I’m looking for:
Alcohol is an option, but not a requirement
Quiet enough to have a conversation, busy enough to people-watch
Enough options to have an indoor & outdoor date idea (you always need a rain plan here!)
Bars & breweries in downtown
POST (where I had my first date with my boyfriend, actually!): craft cocktails with a rotating seasonal menu + small bites.
Las Floriditas: A Cuban-themed speakeasy in the heart of downtown Mobile. Make sure you check the dress code + get the password from social media.
